Scholarships & Tuition Assistance
STATE FUNDED SCHOLARSHIPS
The Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC)
To ensure students will receive the full award of a state scholarship, students should be completely enrolled by July 1st of the new school year. Be advised that state scholarships will not cover the entire cost of tuition or additional fees. Parents/guardians will be responsible for any remaining balance due, or fees incurred. Parents/guardians will also be responsible for completing all necessary steps through SUFS EMA platform to include enrolling their child in the school and approving payments to be sent to the school from SUFS throughout the year. SJCS TUITION ASSISTANCE/SCHOLARSHIP
- A tuition aid application is completed through our third-party vendor, FACTS. Students must be completely enrolled in order for the application to be reviewed.
- Any tuition assistance is calculated after all other discounts, deposits, or state scholarships are applied.
- St. James Cathedral School Need-Based Scholarships – SJCS has limited financial aid available to families based upon a demonstrated financial need and availability of financial aid funds. Families in need of such financial aid should contact the SJCS Principal. Families receiving state-funded scholarships are not generally eligible for tuition assistance.
Further information on the above scholarships, including how they are applied to tuition at SJCS can be found in the Parent-Student Handbook.
