St. James Cathedral school is committed to academic and spiritual excellence for all students. As part of the varied opportunities offered to help pupils develop their God-given gifts, our robust resource department provides essential support both in and out of the classroom for students needing additional assistance. Further, we offer ALPHA (Advanced Learning Program for Higher Achievement) for learners who could benefit from rigorous curriculum and critical thinking challenges. Central to our SJCS mission is the development of all areas of a child’s maturation — academically, spiritually, emotionally, socially, and physically. We are blessed to have a full-time guidance counselor who provides weekly lessons for students, as well as is available for conferences and support for students and families.
